Hewlett-Packard India unveils new range of Business Notebooks

INDIA – Hewlett-Packard India, the leader in potables space, further strengthened its notebook portfolio by introducing its latest range of business notebooks in the country. HP introduced four powerful feature packages in its business notebooks – standard (s), business (b), professional (p) and workstation (w) – so customers can easily identify the feature set that best aligns with their particular needs. Each of these notebooks offer personalized features that will appeal to business users across the country.

The new nomenclature for notebooks from HP is just another step in the on-going endeavor to simply technology for customers. Going beyond the model numbers these simple alphabets will help the customers to choose the right notebook for their business needs. The s, b, p and w are a part of the new model numbers in each notebook. HP brings value, uncompromised quality and features even in its entry level notebooks.

Today HP offers a wide range of notebooks with solutions that suit your business need on the move without any compromises on security and performance. To simplify product selection for business customers, HP business notebook model numbers are now based around three product groupings -- Ultra-Light (2000), Balanced Mobility (6000) and High Performance (8000).

HP’s professional (p) range of notebooks:

· HP Compaq 2710p Notebook PC :– Starting at only 1.65 kg, this sleek, ultra-thin convertible tablet sports an innovative design. With a twist of the screen, it transforms from an ultra-light notebook PC into pen-based tablet. HP NightLight on the keyboard to improve visibility in low light and integrated business card reader software.


· HP Compaq 2510p Notebook PC :– HP’s smallest and lightest business notebook starts at only 1.3kg with an integrated optical drive. Dual-pointing devices, both a touchpad with scroll zone and point stick, offer users greater flexibility. As with the tablet, the Illumi-Lite display improves battery life by up to 90 minutes over a notebook with traditional backlighting.

· HP Compaq 6910p Notebook PC: – With industry-leading battery life of up to five hours and 45 minutes and a starting weight of only 2.0 kg, this notebook is designed for on-the-move productivity.

HP’s business (b) range of notebooks:

· HP Compaq 2200 series Notebook PC :– Delivering ultimate mobility combined with performance & value, this notebook boasts a sleek 12.1-inch diagonal widescreen display with a built in DVD Writer & all in just 1.7Kgs.

· HP Compaq 6500 series Notebook PC :– Delivering greater mobility, this notebook boasts a low profile 14.1-inch diagonal widescreen display that offers 30 percent more viewing content than the standard 15-inch diagonal XGA display.

· HP Compaq 6700 series Notebook PC :– These notebooks offer large displays, value and extensive connectivity. They feature a widescreen 15.4 inch diagonal widescreen display with a choice of anti-glare or HP BrightView display options

· HP Compaq 8510 series :– This notebook PC and mobile workstation offer a choice of intense graphics from ATI and NVIDIA in a 2.77 kg highly mobile design.
